MANAGING DIRECTOR EUROPE ZONE, ACTIVE COSMETICS DIVISION, L’ORÉAL
A graduate of EDHEC, Elisabeth Araujo began her career in 1997 as a Product Manager for Vichy, at L’Oréal’s Active Cosmetics Division. In 2000 she joined the International Marketing Team at La Roche-Posay and a year later, moved to Spain as Marketing Director of La Roche-Posay where she was entrusted with the management of the brand.
In 2006, Elisabeth was appointed International Marketing Director for La Roche-Posay and in 2007, became General Manager of the Sanoflore brand. Between 2010 and 2015 she was General Manager of La Roche-Posay worldwide.
In 2015, Elisabeth transferred to Seattle in the USA and was appointed President of L’Oréal Beauty Devices moving from there to New York in 2018 to take the COO position at It Cosmetics.
She moved back to the Active Cosmetics Division in Paris in 2020 as Western Europe Zone General Manager and since September 2021 has headed up the whole of the Active Cosmetics Europe Zone.
Elisabeth brings to the CEDEP Board in depth knowledge of marketing and international brand management in cosmetic and skincare products, along with strong operational skills gained from highly competitive domestic markets in Europe and the USA.
Elisabeth representing L’Oréal has been a CEDEP board member since November 2021.
