Who we are
Where leaders shape safer, higher‑performing organisations
about us
The International Institute of Leadership and Safety Culture (IILSC) is a global hub for leaders to come together to strengthen organisational performance through excellence in safety.
Created by the not-for-profit executive education club CEDEP, the Institute gathers executives, safety professionals and operational managers who recognise that strong, visible leadership is the engine of high‑performing organisations.
Through executive education, custom solutions, events, applied insights and an exclusive membership offering, we help leaders shape workplace cultures in which everyone feels valued and safe.
OUR MISSION & OUR VISION
Our mission is to empower leaders at all levels to create sustainable cultures of care that enhance safety, resilience and business results.
Our vision is a world in which high-impact, people‑centred leadership is the foundation of safety excellence and organisational success.
Why IILSC was created
We believe that high-impact leadership is the spearhead for creating a sustainable safety culture at work. It breeds confidence and creates the conditions for collective thinking and innovation. Ultimately, it shapes safer, more resilient workplaces and practices that have a positive effect on every aspect of people’s lives. This is our philosophy. How do we make it a reality?
The Institute was formed to create a secure environment for leaders and managers from across sectors and from around the world. A safe space to share knowledge, find synergies, forge alliances and drive change. We set the context for building leaders’ confidence, competence and comfort in creating safety.
And we can do this because we draw from decades of experience in developing leaders. The Institute is a division of CEDEP, an independent, not-for-profit executive education club with a proven global reputation. Based in France and operating worldwide, CEDEP’s 50+ years of experience in growing transformational leaders across non-competing industries gives it the rare insight, credibility and collaborative infrastructure needed to establish IILSC.
Faculty & Experts
The Institute’s experienced faculty run our world-class programs, Leadership Through Health and Safety Culture (LHSC) and Safety Leadership Academy (SLA) for Oil & Gas Sector.

IILSC advisory BOARD
Advisory Board members are a group of accomplished leaders from the fields of safety, business and academia. Their advice is invaluable in steering the Institute’s strategic direction.
french government certification
CEDEP is a Qualiopi-certified French training organisation offering the possibility of financial support for French companies.
On the business side, the financing calls upon an OPCO (Opérateur de Compétences).
These organisations can collect the Contribution unique à la formation professionnelle et à l’alternance (which replaces the Contribution à la formation professionnelle and the Taxe d’apprentissage) from companies and redistribute it for the training of employees. The funding granted depends on the size of the company.
Requests for funding agreements from the OPCOs must be made before any training.
Customised programs may result in certified competence based on their content and objectives. For more information, please contact us.
