Dr Andrew Sharman is one of the world’s leading safety experts and CEO of the International Institute for Leadership and Safety Culture (IILSC) founded by CEDEP. With a safety career spanning more than two decades he has guided global leaders in their commitment to zero accidents and towards safety excellence across a range of industry sectors.
He has chaired or given keynote papers at more than 300 professional global development events including the prestigious TED conferences. He also holds several key positions in the industry, including chartered fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health, a fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, founder and chairman of the One Percent Safer Foundation, and managing partner of the international culture and leadership consultancy, RMS.
Andrew has masters degrees in international health and safety law, and environmental law, in industrial psychology and organisational behaviour, and a doctorate in leadership and culture transformation. He is the author of many books on leadership and safety culture and his first book entitled From Accidents to Zero is the best-selling safety culture book of the last decade.
