Jean-Christophe Le Coze is director of research at Ineris (Institut National de l’Environnement Industriel et des Risques). He is an active voice in an approach to safety that integrates knowledge from various disciplines in a pragmatic way and adapts to a changing world.
For over 20 years he has worked with numerous multinational chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, transport and pyrotechnic companies, industrial partners and regulators to promote a sociotechnical vision of safety.
Jean-Christophe is a prolific writer and regularly publishes books, articles and industry guides and is associate editor of the Safety Science journal. He facilitates training courses, workshops and conferences and teaches at a number of academic establishments including Mines de Paris, UTC and UVSQ.
Jean-Christophe has a doctorate from Mines de Paris and an HDR from UTC.
